We
are currently recruiting for:
Marketing
Assistant
- Assist
in developing marketing communications for the Credit Union and
coordinating the efforts of marketing toward the accomplishment
of overall objectives.
-
Assist in the development and execution of promotions, research,
proposals and other marketing functions as needed.
- Assist
with production of the Credit Union newsletters, including research
and development of content
Coordinate special event planning, including Board meetings, seminars,
annual meetings etc.
- Act
as administrative assistant to include general office duties.

Maintain the Credit Union website, performing updates and developing
content.
- This
candidate should thrive in a fast paced team environment and possess
strong proper grammar usage, proofreading and copywriting abilities,
and be detailed and deadline oriented.
Requirements:
1-3 yrs similar experience, Marketing/Communication/English degree
or equivalent experience, strong proficiency in MS Office suite,
preferred knowledge of Adobe products and Macromedia Dreamweaver.

Business
Development Officer– responsible for developing
and managing new business and SEG (select employer group) opportunities
for the credit union. through outside sales; as well as further
developing the existing SEG base.
Duties
include:
- Identifies
potential SEGs and takes action to sell benefits of credit union
services to the company.

Assists in setting department goals, monitoring and reporting
progress.

Hosts membership drives, events, and presentations at SEG locations
and business/community events.
-
Develops programs, promotions and campaigns to successfully market
credit union membership, products and services to prospective
SEGs.
-
Initiates sales calls, visits, and mailings to existing and new
SEGs.
- Proposes
to the Board of Directors new SEG requests requiring changes to
the Credit Union’s Bylaws/field of Membership.
-
Coordinates the introduction of the Credit Union to SEG employees.
-
Services initial account opening.
-
Follows up with cross sell efforts to increase SEG membership
and product/service penetration levels.
- Manages
SEG data processing system, codes and tracking.
- Produces
accurate and timely business development reports and updates.
- Responsible
for analysis of relevant statistics for the business development
plan making
recommendations to management when required.
- Prepares
annual budget and plan for Business Development department.

Assists in the development of promotional strategies to meet business
development goals; develops promotional materials.
- Actively
engages SEGs by conducting open houses, orientation/training introductions,
benefits fairs, and other SEG sponsored/community events.
- Promptly
responds to SEG orders, requests, and phone calls.
- Communicates
and works closely with branch/operations personnel on business
development opportunities, prospecting, strengthening key contact
relationships, servicing current SEGs, and prospecting.
- Attends
Chamber luncheons, meetings, and other networking opportunities.

Recommends and implements effective business development related
advertising and marketing.

Participates in business development events and activities that
foster opportunities to increase penetration with existing SEGs/core
groups or prospective SEGs. Regularly attends local area roundtable,
conferences and/or seminars.
- Assists
with internal promotions including communication, etc.

Assists in annual meeting, open houses, and other events as needed.
-
Maintains organization and inventory of Business Development collateral,
premiums, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum
(2) two years financial services industry experience and two years
in a service management position and/or business development,
marketing, public relations, or financial sales.
- College
degree with an emphasis in Public Relations, Marketing, Business,
Advertising, Business Development or Communications.

Excellent writing, speaking, presentation and overall communication
skills.

Ability to interact effectively in group and individual settings
at all levels within and outside the credit union.
Strong research and analytical skills.

MEMBER
SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE/ TELLER-
To assist members and potential members with their Credit Member
Services Representative/Teller– Responsibilities include:
-
Providing prompt, accurate, courteous, friendly, timely and professional
service to all members.
-
Explaining services, setting up new accounts, responding to problems,
and directing members to the appropriate people.
-
Assisting members with their financial transactions, involving
paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.
-
Assuring that appropriate records are maintained and required
reports are prepared.
Requirements:
- Six
months to one year of similar or related experience.
-
HS Graduate/ GED
- Strong
customer service skills
- Knowledge
of computers
- Excellent
interpersonal & communications skills
